Yoga Now In Full Flow

Our Yoga Classes are now running on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Friday class with Derryn will teach a combination of Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. Overall, the perfect blend of stretching and relaxation techniques to compliment the Ritual strength and conditioning training. In contrast, the Wednesday class with Isabelle will teach a Yinyasa style yoga, with an emphasis on strength and flow a yoga class that will challenge you. Without a doubt, Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike.

Wednesday Yoga Classes

Our Wednesday yoga practice is Vinyasa. Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. This is your chance to flow and move, connect your body, breath, and mind. By all means, challenge your body and learn some more advanced poses. Inhalation is usually connected to upward or open movements, and exhalation tied to downward movements or twists. Generally, Vinyasa includes, but is not limited to, Power yoga, Baptiste yoga, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, and Prana Flow.

Friday Yoga Classes

Our Friday yoga practice has an emphasis on recovery and relaxation ideal at the end of a weeks strength training. Despite some moves being challenging, time is spent in each position to breath into the stretch. Not to mention, there are regressions always available. What’s more, Hatha yoga is generally practiced more slowly and with more static posture holds than found in styles such as Ashtanga or Vinyasa. Above all, Derryn’s grounding means she can blend the perfect practice to set us up for a fantastic Friday.
